HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

Blue Moon Campground is a members-only, 21+ (ID required) gay campground designed to be a welcoming, safe, and social space for our community. To maintain our private campground status (as required by the county) and to preserve the unique environment we’re building, membership is available by referral or invitation only.

To become a member:

• You must be referred by a current member or invited by an owner.
• Once invited, you’ll receive a simple application form along with our rules and policies.
• Applications are typically reviewed within 3 to 5 days.

We know this is a unique process, but it’s intentional. It helps us foster a space where everyone can feel at ease, have fun, and truly belong.

As we grow, we’ll continue to open up more membership opportunities. Our goal is to create a place with excellent facilities, a laid-back vibe, and plenty of chances to connect—whether you’re here for the weekend or setting up for a week of remote work.

With monthly events and regular social activities, Blue Moon Campground offers a one-of-a-kind experience where friendships are made, memories are created, and everyone is welcome to be themselves.

When you visit Blue Moon, there’s plenty to enjoy—both on the property and beyond. We’ve taken the time to explore the surrounding area so you don’t have to, curating a list of great spots to eat, hike, shop, and unwind.

Just 5 minutes away is downtown Lafayette, where you’ll find a charming mix of restaurants, local shops, and a vibrant Saturday farmers market during the summer months. Looking to venture a little farther? Within a 30-minute drive, you can enjoy scenic hiking trails, beautiful golf courses, cozy cafés, and even a winery with a tasting room.
