Bonus points for the good drinks.

This breathtakingly scenic park is on the western edge of Lookout Mountain and only 20 minutes from Blue Moon. The park straddles a deep gorge cut into the mountain by Sitton Gulch Creek, with elevations between 800 to 1,980 feet. The most magnificent viewpoint is found near the picnic area parking lot. However a walk along the rim trail offers spectacular vistas as well (this is a 5 mile hike and well worth it). You can also choose to hike to the bottom of the gorge where there are 2 waterfalls to enjoy (heads up there are 600-step to get down – dogs are allowed but the stairs may be challenging for them). If you like biking there are 30 miles of bike trials to explore within Cloudland.

Rock City (Lookout Mountain)
seerockcity.com
Perched atop Lookout Mountain, about six miles from downtown Chattanooga, Rock City might be a tourist destination but the views make it worth the trip. The Enchanted Trail winds for about a mile through massive ancient rock formations, narrow passageways, whimsical installations, and lush gardens. Along the way you’ll cross swinging bridges, squeeze through tight spots, and eventually arrive at Lover’s Leap—a dramatic cliffside overlook with views stretching across seven states on a clear day.
Rock City is great year-round, but it’s especially magical during the Enchanted Garden of Lights, which runs from November 13 through December 31. After dark, the trail transforms with thousands of twinkling lights and seasonal displays, making it a fun and festive evening adventure.

Lafayette golf course
1 Fred Henry Drive / LaFayette, GA 30728 / 706-639-1580
Lafayette has a public golf course. Here is the info directly from their website;
The LaFayette Golf Course is a true challenge for any golfer to adapt to as it’s far from a simple course. It’s basically two courses in one!
It’s a little bit of “old school meets new school” as the course has two varying sides. The original 9-holes—which make up the first side—were built in the 1930s and are relatively short, but require accuracy both off the tee and in the approach shot into small greens. A few bunkers are strategically placed on just a few holes. It’s a course representative of how the game was played in the early 1900s.
The “new school” side is much longer—like most modern courses—with open grass bunkers, elevated greens, mounds and out-of-bounds that place a premium on club selection and strategy. The “new school” 9-holes were constructed in 1992 and designed by Arthur Davis.
Full Service Driving Range
The course also has a full service—300 yards long/75 yards wide—driving range that is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. A small bucket of balls costs $3. A large bucket costs $6. The driving range fits up to 20 people at one time.
