We’re thrilled to be featured in the September/October issue of OUT Magazine. Writer Ricky Cornish visited Blue Moon Campground and shared his experience of discovering our 220-acre gay campground and RV resort nestled in the North Georgia mountains.
In “Under the Blue Moon,” Ricky explores everything from our cabins and glamping tents to RV and tent camping, hiking trails, pool, hot tub and year-round events. But what stood out most from his visit wasn’t simply the setting or accommodations — it was the sense of community.
Traveling solo, Ricky writes about arriving at BMC and quickly feeling welcomed by our guests and staff, meeting new friends and connecting with people from across the LGBTQ+ community. It’s something we’ve hoped to create at Blue Moon Campground from the beginning: a place where you can escape to nature, relax, have fun and feel completely comfortable being yourself.
