OUR COMMUNITY SERIES. MEET JOE AND BRAIN.AMBASSADORS. SITE 206

BMC is all about building community, and what better way to celebrate it than by letting our ambassadors, guests, and staff share their stories!

First up are Brian and Joe from Site 206. If you haven’t had the chance to visit their beautiful garden yet, be sure to stop by!

What do you think makes Blue Moon Campground magical?
Brian: For me, I think it has to be the people. Whether that’s those of us who have permanent sites here, those who visit on day passes, campers, staff, owners. The people make the magic. That’s not something you can design or build…it’s cultural and the owners really set the stage by choosing a beautiful site in the foothills of the mountains, making the facilities top-notch, and hiring customer-focused staff. The way people here naturally come together and lift each other up is pure magic, especially in this everything-digital day and time.

Joe: The people and the privacy. Everything is so well done and planned out. Freedom. I’ve known one of the owners for years. After they found the property, I came up a week later to take a look. That was before anything was here but I heard their vision and saw the beauty and the possibilities. I said, “Count us in!” on the spot. I knew then it was going to be magical and BMC has delivered!

What would you say to someone who has never been to BMC but is curious about visiting?
Brian: Just come! If you’ve never been to a gay campground, you will feel very comfortable here. Like I said about the magic, the people here embrace and welcome first-time visitors like no other place I’ve experienced. If you lack a place to be your authentic self, they you’ll find it a BMC. If you’re out and proud then you’ll find peace and a human vibe here that seems to be missing from today’s “scene.” There is something here for everyone and that’s not just marketing jargon…it’s a truth that shows up every day at BMC!

Joe: More of a resort than a campground. Unlike any other campground I’ve been to. First class all the way. You will love it. The vibe, the people, the beauty, the privacy are the best.
