Is Blue Moon a private campground?
Blue Moon Campground is a private members property and members have to be invited to join. The annual membership fee is $50 plus tax. All memberships expires one year from date of purchase.
How old do I need to be to visit Blue Moon Campground?
All guests must be at least 21 years old. A government issued ID must be shown at the time of registration at the campground entrance. No photo copy IDs are accepted. All visitors must acknowledge Blue Moon Campground Policies and Rules before entering the property.
How do I reserve a camp site / accommodation?
Reservations can only be made by members. Ones you’re a member reservations can be made online at the Blue Moon website. We do not accept walk-ins. Day passes can also be purchased online.
What time can I check in?
Check-in is 3:00 p.m. for guests with overnight reservations; RV, Tent, or Cabin. You can always call ahead to see if an early check in is available. Check out time is noon. Overnight visitors may stay on the property until 6:00 p.m. on the day of departure. If you choose to stay for the day, you will need to move your camper and / or car to one of our parking lots. All reservation tags must be visible in all car and camper windows.
What are the entrance gate hours at Blue Moon Campground?
Entrance gate hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you are going to arrive late, please call Blue Moon in advance to make arrangements. No overnight accommodation arrivals will be allowed after 11:00 p.m.
Can I visit Blue Moon Campground for the day?
Yes – if you are a member. Day pass visitors can check in at 10:00 a.m. and must check out by 7:00 p.m. If day visitors stay beyond 7:00 Blue Moon Campground will charge an overnight fee.
Does Blue Moon Campground have permanent spots?
Yes. Blue Moon Campground offers annual leases for some of the RV spots and Cabins.
Can I bring my pet to Blue Moon Campground?
Yes. You can bring your dog or cat to Blue Moon Campground. All pets must be current with vaccinations and be kept on a 6 ft leash. Pets are not allowed in Blue Moon Campground buildings or in the pool area.
Is Blue Moon Campground clothing optional.
There are clothing optional areas for our guests at Blue Moon Campground. Clothing must be worn in Public Buildings at Blue Moon Campground. Clothing must be worn between Mineral Springs Road and Dry Creek (entrance bridge).
Is Alcohol Allowed?
Yes. Alcohol is consumed at Blue Moon Campground. Public Intoxication is not allowed. No glass containers are allowed in the pool and hot tub areas or in the Bath Rooms.
Can I invite a day visitor or guest to stay overnight in my overnight accommodation?
All visitors bust be members to stay overnight. All cars and vehicles must have a valid window tag with the date of the visit. All overnight guests must register at the campground general store.
Are there quiet hours at the campground?
Yes. Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday. Quiet hours are 11:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Can I shoot fireworks while camping or visiting?
No. Blue Moon Campground is a private membership only facility and does not allow any fireworks or weapons of any kind on the property.
Is a tent or camper required to rent a campsite?
Yes. If you don’t have a tent or camper, we welcome you to reserve one of our sleeper cabins.
Who do I call in an emergency?
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 immediately. After you have called 911, please call Blue Moon campground so that emergency vehicles can be met at the entrance and escorted to your location on the property. For NON emergencies, including any disturbances, call Blue Moon Campground.
Do you have EV chargers
Currently Blue Moon Campground does not have EV charging stations.
